Dear Glen Rock Neighbor:

 Those of you who have called for our assistance may have noticed that we ask a lot of questions when we arrive at your home. The answers to those questions provide us with important information that is required by hospital personnel so that they may be in a better position to diagnose your problem and administer proper treatment.  Very often, these questions come at a time when you are least likely to feel like answering them because of the discomfort or anxiety that you may be experiencing.  With this year’s appeal for your financial support, we are also making an appeal to help us help you. The enclosed medical form will provide us with the answers to many of the questions that we ask during our visit. Please make as many copies of these forms as you might need for family members and keep them readily available in the event of a medical emergency. Also enclosed is an ambulance magnet that you might use to attach these forms to your refrigerator or another easily accessible surface. Please complete the forms and keep them up to date.

 This is also the time of year when we ask for your continued financial support, for without your donations, the Glen Rock Volunteer Ambulance Corps would not be able to function at the level of service that our community deserves.  So far in 2007, we have responded to approximately 500 calls for help.  You may have noticed that we completed a building addition which houses our new emergency response trailer. It is equipped with supplies that may be required in responding to serious emergency events. 

The GRVAC is a not-for-profit organization that consists of volunteers from our community, dedicated to helping you in times of crises and need.
