Diane Herrlett was recently honored at the first Emergency Medical Service Excellence Gala hosted by The Valley Hospital on January 30, 2007.  The event honored the work of first responders, emergency medical technicians and paramedics. 

 

An Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and member of the Glen Rock Volunteer Ambulance Corps for more than 25 years, Diane was President from 1997-2006.  The GRVAC grew considerably, having responded to almost 900 callls during her last year as President.   She was responsible for implementing service prorams that were critical to recruiting and retaining new members.  She continues to serve in leadership positions as a member of the GRVAC Executive Board, the Publicity Officer, and Chairperson of the Social Committee.
