Ambulance Corps Youth Squad Member Receives
Appreciation Plaque
The Glen Rock Ambulance Corps was pleased
to recognize Michael Bendett at the Glen Rock
High School Annual Awards Day held Thursday,
June 5th. A commerative plaque was presented to
Mike by Ambulance Corps President Mary Surrago.
Mike has been a
member of the Ambulance Corps for 2 years and
was cited by the Corps for exceptional service
during those 2 years. It takes more than
answering emergency calls to keep an ambulance
corps functioning and this exceptional young man
has volunteered above and beyond the call of
duty with his participation on committees and
other work.
He will be attending
Ramapo College in the Fall and plans to major in
Nursing. As with many other dedicated
graduates, he plans to continue his membership
in the Ambulance Corps while in college, taking
duty during school breaks and summer vacation.
