The Glen Rock Ambulance Corps
welcomes its newest member, Susan
Hofmann, to its roster. Susan is a
seasoned EMT, having been a member
of the Fair Lawn Ambulance Corps for over
15 years. She became an EMT
in 1993 after witnessing an accidnet on
Route 80 and realizing that
she did not have the training to help.
She started with a CPR class
and her instructor, who turned out to be
the President of the Fair
Lawn squad, urged her to go further and
become an EMT.
She is President of Mutual Tape in Rochelle
Park, NJ. Her husband's
name is Joe and she has two daughters,
aged 18 and 12. Susan states
that "her family has always been very
supportive of her volunteering."
Although only a member since December,
she has become involved
immediately by heading the Recruitment
and Retention Committee. The
Ambulance Corps welcomes Susan and wishes
her a long and successful career with them.
