Please take a moment to watch this video that includes some of our present members. Our members explain why we volunteer, and the rewards we receive for doing so. Thank you for watching and for your interest in our mission.
If you have been "thinking about It" like all of our members did before joining, please contact us. There are so many reasons why you will be glad you did. The most important reason of all is the rewarding experience of helping people in their time of need. Take a moment and think about the personal satisfaction and fulfillment of helping a child or assisting an elderly person in an emergency situation. Or, supporting the members of our brave fire department when they put their lives on the line. These rewarding experiences are the reasons our members continue to volunteer. Make the time to chat with us and you will understand why you should consider joining us now.

We feel a tremendous amount of satisfaction from helping our neighbors during their times of need. Some of our patients refer to us as “Glen Rock’s Angels!” Having undergone the same training as any paid ambulance service, if not more, we also have gained valuable emergency medical skills and real-life experiences that are useful during situations we encounter with our own families and friends.
Due to our common mission to help others, we share a close bond as a family and support each other during good and bad times in our own personal lives. Whether you are an empty nester, retired from your career, or a young parent wanting to contribute to your community, the GRVAC is a great opportunity for you to learn valuable skills and connect in the community.
We need members to continue our tradition of service to Glen Rock. Classes start in January and we offer free babysitting for your children while you attend classes as well as free babysitting for members riding daytime shifts. No previous medical experience is needed and the training program is free as well. Once you are through the course and pass the state exam, we will train you on our specific equipment and the operation of our vehicles.
We encourage you to think about it! Read More....
