GRVAC Honors Noreen Egan
On Monday, June 15, 2015, members of the GRVAC gathered outside their building to honor retired life member Noreen Egan, who volunteered more than 30 years to the organization and responding to emergency calls in Glen Rock. It has been a long-standing tradition to affix a brass plaque to a monument outside the building to honor members who retire with more than 25 years of service.
Noreen joined the GRVAC in 1982 and served as Chief in 1998 and 1999, and as Lieutenant and as a member of the Thursday night crew for many years.
“I will never forget my experiences on the corps helping residents as well as the long-time friendships I formed with corps members,” said Noreen. “It has added to my life and has been truly a wonderful experience.”
