I have always wanted to be in the medical profession to help people in their time of need. I decided to give Emergency Medical Technician a try and joined the Glen Rock Ambulance Corps in 2004. It was a great way to give back to the community and meet people. Volunteering also gave me the confidence to return to college to obtain my Bachelor’s of Science Nursing. Although, I moved away for a few years I always knew I would return and couldn’t wait give back to the community once again. My tenure on the Corps has been rewarding both personally and professionally. |
