Josh Stein with Diane Herrlett, President of the GRVAC
Josh is also a current member of the GRVAC. Josh celebrated his ceremony with friends and family on April 2, 2016. Josh started scouting when he was in the sixth grade. He has been a proud member of Troop 15 throughout his entire scouting career.
It is a great accomplishment to become an Eagle Scout. It requires that the Scout is active in their troop for a period of at least six months after achieving the rank of Life Scout. One must demonstrate that they live by the principles of the Scout Oath and Scout Law in their daily life. It also requires that a scout earns at least a total of 21 merit badges.
To achieve the rank of Eagle Scout each candidate must perform a service project. Josh took on the project of renovating the Reverend Spencer Square outside The Good Shepard Church on Ackerman and Rock Road in Glen Rock.
