Join The GRVAC - Become A Member - Experience The Rewards
There are a lot of reasons to join the Glen Rock Volunteer Ambulance Corps. Probably the best is the rewarding experience of helping others. In addition, our members have the opportunity to work with the Glen Rock Police and Fire Departments to assist our neighbors when they have medical emergencies. As Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), we enjoy camaraderie among our own members, town government officials, members of Glen Rock's finest (police department as well as Glen Rock's bravest (fire department).

Feel The Rewards Of Helping Others
Please take the time to speak with our members. Ask them why we volunteer. A common theme you will hear is "We feel the rewards of helping our neighbors". There are no question, that motivators like 9/11 or a school shooting drives membership. However, the feeling of driving in one of our ambulances, comforting a child, an elderly person, an emotionally disturbed person are the reasons why we volunteer. It is true that often we are saving lives, delivering babies, and responding to trauma situations such as a motor vehicle accidents. These situations require the professional pre-hospital care that we are trained to provide. Knowing that we at the GRVAC are qualified to provide these services as well as anyone is a sense of pride that is rewarding.
