Glen Rock's Town Council Presents Longevity Recognition To GRVAC Members.
On the evening of February 13th, 2019, Glen Rock's Town Council presented three awards for longevity to Ed Esposito, Diane Herrlett, and present Lt, Joan Zanotti. Esposito was presented with a recognition citation for forty years with the GRVAC. In those forty years, Ed has held numerous positions including President, Captain and Chief. In addition, Ed has held countless positions on committees that have brought such high standards and state-of-the-art equipment to the GRVAC. Ed's wife is an honorary member of the GRVAC and plays a large part as a participant on our social committee. Diane's award was presented for 38 years of service with the GRVAC. Diane's duties have included the position of President and has also served on countless committees. Diane has brought the mom's touch to the decor, and social aspects of the corps. Diane, the wife of our beloved brother Paul Herrlett, who was also a long time member, has been instrumental in guiding us through the administrative rigors of running an organization such as the GRVAC. Joan Zanotti, long time ER nurse at The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, has dedicated 35 years of service to the GRVAC. Joan has held the positions of President, Chief, and has served on many committees. Joan's husband Artie, has been a long time volunteer for the GRFD. Joan is currently a Lt. and serves as the training officer for the GRVAC. By the way, Diane, Joan and Ed continue making emergency calls keeping Glen Rock's heart beating. All the members of the GRVAC thank each of you and your spouses for your dedication. Thank you so much for your years of service.
